What We Do
Improve customer engagement using blog, social media and website
We’ll not only help you establish elements for improved online business communication, but provide ongoing support face to face, via phone or video link. This is what we can do:
- Help you with developing a social media strategy, important at the outset if measurement of success is going to be based on more than just the ‘numbers’ game.
- Provide a bespoke website, developed on WordPress, or advise/implement improvements to your current site. If you require ecommerce we have experience to help you identify quality e-commerce site providers based in the UK . Read testimonial from a client about our help in this respect.
- Need a blog? We’ll set you up with one built on WordPress and teach you how to get the best out of it.
- Establish other social media channels such as as Twitter, Facebook LinkedIn Google+ and Pinterest. We can also help with creating and uploading video to YouTube.
- Practical help with monitoring and measuring your online communication channels using Google Analytics and social media management/monitoring tools.
1:1 coaching and workshops covering blogging and social media channels are run in Northampton and Corby. For details visit the Events page.
Presentations to the Board are becoming increasingly popular. It’s a good way to effect cultural change and a common understanding of what social media really means for businesses, not just the benefits but realistic in-house requirements. These presentations can be delivered at your place of business as we have all equipment required, courtesy of a grant awarded last year.
For more information about the type of business support we can offer visit the Website Wings support page.
Bi-monthly Social Media Huddles are run in Northampton and Kettering. An informal meeting of business people who want to enter into discussion about the practical application of blogs and social media for their particular business. For more information visit the Social Media Huddles page
How we work
Step 1
Assessment
An initial conversation about your business, followed by running reports to gather information about the quality of your online presence.
Discussion of goals and in-house resources.
Step 2
Strategy
To enter into battle without a strategy is unwise.
Likewise it’s advisable to develop a social media policy to cover company business discussed online by employees, whether at work or in their own time.
There’s no standard formula we roll out for everyone and a reality check concerning achievability is part of the process.
Step 3
Implementation
We’ll help you establish the elements you need for effective online customer engagement. This could involve setting you up with a blog or website, or providing help with using social media channels.
We’ll provide more practical help to begin with than will probably be required after 3 months. We work at your pace, providing support until you feel confident to go it alone.
Step 4
Evaluation
For continued benefit there needs to be regular, consistent development of all online communication channels you have in place.
3 or 6 monthly reviews are delivered face to face, over the phone or by video link.
We’re here to help and to help you succeed.
