Having done several presentations of ‘Social Media for the bemused, confused and unenthused’ over the past few months, I’m presenting next at Northampton University on 4th July.

The presentation, part of a series of events being run by the University Enterprise Club, is suitable for both business start-ups and those who have an established business.  The common denominator between all attendees will be the desire to gain an overview of what social media has to offer, in terms of business development.

Overview of presentation
  • Do I really need to be bothered with social media for my business?
  • Social Media Channels: The main UK 5
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • YouTube
  • Google+
  • What is a blog?
  • Why blog?
  • Social signals
  • Will social media replace the website?
  • Conclusion.  What’s yours?

Running for an hour from 6.30 p.m. there will be opportunity for questions and discussion afterwards, over a cup of coffee.  Book your free place via the University Enterprise Club Administrator Sharon Irwin on 01604 892606
